I spent the weekend in NYC buying for Kouture @ FFANY with my fellow fashionista and friend, Carly Catalana. Not gonna lie... We make a pretty powerful duo when it comes to buying. Carly interns at Celine and is THE accessory queen. We are going to Coterie at the end of this month and I'm stoked to have her join the buying team.
We spent a majority of the show in the Jeffrey Campbell room not just because the shoes are to die for but our rep, Connor, is the shit and also from Rochester!! We drooled over our SS12 order while talking about garbage plates and Wegmans. AND they were playing Biggie and Waka Flocka the entire time... as if I didn't already love JC enough.
Rochester is not ready for whats about to go down at Kouture. Did I mention we are the first buyers to custom design the rose gold metallic Lita? Yep, its happening and only at Kouture.. Rochester's exclusive store for Jeffrey Campbell. We're making HISTORY. You're going to want them all. JC has a way of causing obsessive behavior.. you may end up saying f*** want, I NEEED them. I know from personal experience.

Wish I could share more from the behind the scenes but I have to keep some of these goodies a secret. Let me just say I have 20+ different styles on order including the amazing American Flag Lita for summer and a couple pairs of JC kicks. Leopard pony hair high top sneakers... Can you spot them?
Here are a few more shots from my weekend in the city... Work hard, play hard.
Rag & Bone Astrid Boots.. straight off the Runway and onto the Subway.

Rodarte for Opening Ceremony. Insanity.

Friday night outfit: I found my inner hippy and wore Style Stalker maxi pants and a Free People scalloped crop top.

Carly & I went to the #whitegirlproblems book release party @ Milk studios

Giving my feet a break from the usual 6 inches: Jordan retro 3's.

Picked up these wine Red Chanel sunnies.

Saturday night outfit: Rag & Bone shoes are so major all I needed was my American Apparel disco pants, a white T, Marc Jacobs side bag, and NARS dragon girl lips to tie the outfit together.

Riff Raff!

JC Studded Tardy's on the flight home. Security guy told me he thought I would be flying to LA... quite the compliment.
To top off the trip, Molly Ryan picked me up at the airport with a "welcome home" sign. I miss her too much when I am away.

Until next time....
XO, Kiley Kouture
